Some information about

Andrea Gardiner

Hey, it’s Andrea. Welcome to my blog! A little bit about me – growing up, my family couldn’t afford extravagant vacations, but my parents instilled in me the value of embracing different cultures through local exploration. Those weekend road trips and visits to nearby historical sites sparked a flame that later turned into a roaring passion for travel. I worked odd jobs during college, saving every penny to fund my first solo trip abroad – a transformative escapade through the enchanting streets of Paris.

After completing my degree in journalism, I decided to weave my love for storytelling with my fervor for travel. Ondea was born out of a desire to not only document my experiences but to create a community where fellow adventurers could find inspiration, tips, and a virtual escape. I dove into the world of blogging, armed with my camera, a backpack, and an insatiable desire to share the beauty of diverse landscapes and cultures.

From navigating bustling markets in Marrakech to trekking the serene landscapes of New Zealand, each journey has left an indelible mark on my soul. As you can probably guess by now, my passport is my most prized possession, and I believe in the transformative power of travel to break down barriers and foster understanding. So, come along on this virtual expedition with me, as we explore the world, one adventure at a time. After all, as St. Augustine wisely said, “The world is a book, and those who do not travel read only one page.” Here’s to turning the pages together!
